Welcome back to a new and exciting term!

April 14th, 2015

It was lovely to welcome the Roseberry family back to school this morning. Everyone looked well rested and ready for another term of learning adventures. It was lovely to see Mrs Thomas again after her illness and Miss Burke was very smiley, wearing a beautiful engagement ring – congratulations, Miss Burke!

During assembly, we thought about how we are all different but special. Stan brought a range of carrier bags into assembly, one of which bore the phrase ‘it’s what’s inside that counts’. This made us stop and think about how we should treat one another. We realised that we shouldn’t judge a person by their appearance, but by the type of person they are. We agreed that the world would be a pretty boring place to be if we all looked the same! We also understood that we all deserve to be treated equally and with respect.

I’m really looking forward to the term ahead – it’s going to be action packed, filled with learning through enquiry and fun!
