Four drumming distinctions!

April 28th, 2017

I was delighted to be able to give out certificates to some very dedicated and committed musicians today. These children have been having drum lessons each week and practising in their own time to be the best they can be! Their hard work has paid off, as they have passed their exams, each with a distinction!

Pip Earland, Caleb Stanley and Oliver Fawcett : Grade Two

Annabelle Collins: Grade Three

Congratulations, children!

A lovely end to a super term!

Thank you to everyone who attended our end of term Easter Assembly this morning. We had over 100 family members in school, sharing our special event. I felt really proud of our children and staff. The Easter story was told beautifully through song, readings and poetry, with superb accompaniment from our ukulele players!

I thank everyone for their hard work this term and wish you all a very happy Easter.

An amazing achievement – what a jump!

We are so very proud of Isobel. As well as trying her best in school every day, she has a great interest outside of school to which she is dedicated and committed. She has spent time and effort practising to achieve great things with her beautiful horse. Just look at this amazing jump! Well done, Isobel. We are really proud of you!

What a thoughtful young lady!

Last week, our School Council had a visit from Helen, who told us all about the Roseberry School in India. This was as a result of one of our children speaking to the whole school about raising money for children less fortunate than ourselves. She had already raised £20.35 following a bake sale that she carried out under her own steam! She happily presented the money to Helen for the Roseberry School. What a thoughtful young lady!

The School Council is now in the process of planning a ‘Thoughtful pyjama day’ to raise even more money for our friends across the globe.

Celebrating amazing talent!

We are so proud of Erin. Last Friday, she took part in a horse riding event and wowed everyone who saw her! She is very excited that she has achieved so much and jumped so well.

We’re really proud of you, Erin. I’m sure your friends in Year Two are proud of you, too!
