A very proud Principal!

October 18th, 2016

Yesterday, we held our Open Day. This was a chance for members of our community to visit our school throughout the day and see us learning through fun. As I showed people into classrooms, I felt very proud indeed. Children were actively engaged with learning and were keen to talk about the skills they were using. They made great use of the working walls in their classrooms and used their coloured cups to show whether they were confident with the tasks they had been set. What really made me smile was the way in which children within the Roseberry family collaborated. It’s lovely to see children going out of their way to support their friends with learning – without being asked! On my way home, I thought about our Keystones for Learning and felt a smile spread across my face when I realised that I’d seen every one of them in every classroom. Well done, everyone. You make me feel so very proud.
